Dayroom Yellow

The first coat of paint is finished in Boo's future room. It's a beautiful yellow from http://www.farrow-ball.com/ that has managed to bring a lot of light into an otherwise dark room. It was definitely worth splurging on! It feels good to finally be making some progress on Boo's room... only two months to go!

To celebrate we're going to head over to the Colbert outdoor market and take advantage of the beautiful sunshine to have oysters and white wine as our pre-lunch apero. Later tonight we're going to the grandparent's house for tripe (Thomas' making it as a special birthday dinner for his Papa) and the Lyon-Bordeaux football game. Not my ideal Sunday evening but Francesca promised to make something special for the two of us for dinner and I do enjoy the end of the match when the soccer players take off their shirts and run around the field...
