Flagstaff and a week with Grandma

After Irvine, we've been spending the past week in Flagstaff. Beautiful, but very hot, Flagstaff. So far, the monsoons have only made one appearance to lower the 90+ temperatures but we are doing our best to keep cool at the pool.

We really haven't done much other than relax with Grandma, or "Gammie" as she prefers to call herself. Mia is having a great time going on walks with her and the dog. She even plays catch with the dog, which is a riot to see, and can say something that resembles, "drop it" and "down" to Honeybunch. Unfortunately we don't have a digital camera here so we're missing some great pictures: Mia making clothespin soup in an old metal camp kettle, eating french toast with Gammie, or the three of us with buckets on our heads.

Today's activities include a trip to Thorpe park with Aunt Zoe, a stop at the bookstore, another show-off episode for Grandma with one of her friends, and a dip in the pool. Ah, vacation.... It's a wonderful thing!
