La France respire

Today's the first day of the anti-tobacco law! It's now against the law to fumer in any public place, with the exception of restaurants, cafes and bars. We'll have to wait another year to enjoy haute cuisine without smelling like an ashtray at the end of the evening.

We had a quiet day, after a busy week. The sun finally came out so after Mia woke up from her afternoon nap we went and wandered around downtown. We met up with our friends Emanu and Nina to talk about their possible move to California. Yet another young ex-pat couple on the move.

Note to AF and UJ : Could you pick Mia and I up at LAX on July 3rd? UJ, I'll need you to have the margarita's ready when we get back to Irvine to recover from the long flight with a toddler on my lap.
